Independent testing by SGS confirmed that the Magic V6 passed a rigorous 500,000-fold durability test, equating to over 13 years of use at a rate of 100 folds per day. HONOR’s testing exceeded standard measures, including a demonstration where the phone successfully towed a commercial aircraft for 150 meters, officially certified by the Asia Record for the ‘Heaviest Aircraft Towed by a Foldable Smartphone’. In another test, the device supported an adult performing pull-ups, showcasing exceptional structural integrity and reinforcing the brand's claim of being "slim, not soft."

The Magic V6 addresses this with the HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield on its outer display, made up of 5,600 layers of silicon nitride coating. This advanced protection reportedly offers ten times better drop resistance and fifteen times improved scratch resistance compared to traditional materials. HONOR even subjected the outer display to a grinder, which left it unscathed, further proving its resilience against everyday hazards.

The inner display features the new HONOR Magic Diamond Screen, constructed with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) that provides significant advantages in hardness and impact resistance over conventional plastic panels. This glass technology, combined with a precision support structure, has earned a “Zero-Perception Crease” certification by SGS, ensuring a seamless user experience.
