Eterspire Unveils Ambitious Summer Roadmap with Steam Deck Support

The indie MMORPG Eterspire is set to undergo significant enhancements this summer, featuring the highly anticipated guild system and a revamped fishing experience. Argentine studio Stonehollow Workshop (SHW) has released a detailed roadmap, outlining a series of updates over the next three months aimed at enriching gameplay.

Starting in June, players can look forward to the introduction of the Guilds system, designed to help players connect, organize, and collaborate. Alongside guilds, fishing will see a comprehensive overhaul, making it a more engaging and rewarding activity. SHW has indicated that the updated fishing system will be polished and enjoyable, enhancing progression within the game.

June will also introduce new co-op endgame trials, achievements for Android users, and improvements to in-game chat functionality, including whispering capabilities. These updates reflect Eterspire's commitment to evolving and refining the player experience.

July aims to elevate gameplay further with the long-awaited full verification for the Steam Deck. Although players can currently access Eterspire on the handheld device, the experience has been somewhat cumbersome. Developers plan to provide a smoother interface to improve playability on the Steam Deck. This month will also see the launch of a daily rewards and quests system, alongside more storage upgrades and the start of the new Bastion season.

August rounds out the summer roadmap with the introduction of the woodcutting crafting skill, enhancements for questing and hunting in parties, and the option to change character names. Notably, the ironman mode will receive a permanent refresh, giving players more choices in how they engage with the game.

"These updates, along with new content, quests, and additional improvements, will be released incrementally over the next three months as part of Eterspire’s regular bi-weekly update schedule," the studio stated. However, players should be aware that the timing of these updates may shift, as development progress could impact release schedules.

With this roadmap, Eterspire is not only expanding its features but also reinforcing its commitment to player engagement and community-building. This is an exciting time for fans of the game.
